Ménage à trois?
It just looks kind of funny. The couple in the top of the tree. He’s looking away. She’s nestled down deep in the nest, barely visible. When all of a sudden -look who’s here!
Or … maybe not …
Walking Iris #2
This one showed up this morning. It’ll be gone by tonight, so I’m saving it now.
This shot was captured with my iPhone, even before I got my coffee.
My Walking Iris
A few months ago I decided to spiff up the place with some plants. I bought one or two, and just scooped up a couple of Walking Iris that someone had tossed on the sidewalk behind the art gallery. Not sure where they came from, but I took them home and stuck them in some dirt.
Yesterday, my rescue efforts were rewarded … with THIS!
Yesterday in Seville Square
Out for a bike ride on a beautiful day. As I circled back toward home I passed through Seville Square and just had to stop for a few photos of this fabulous azalea.
Old Christ Church makes the perfect background.
Yeah, They Do …
… look like boobs. And I’m told the proper name for these clouds is Mammatus. Coincidence? I think not.
A Banner Day!
They’re back! I spotted my first Osprey couple of the season, about a month before they normally show up, which is probably due to the abnormally warm weather.
But this shot was totally unplanned. I was watching them. They’d been gathering nesting materials. And then … photobombed by a Great Blue Heron!
This is not the kind of shot you could ever predict or hope to catch. But here it is.
