Pelican Escape
I usually do these “Escapes” with flowers. But this guy seemed to just be begging for the escape treatment. So here he is.
Peli Scratching
Hanging out on the rail near Palafox Pier, this guy apparently needed to scratch his ear. I never knew pelicans had tiny red pads under their toes!
February is over
This afternoon, in less than a half hour, I stepped outside the studio with camera and tripod, captured these tiny Lantana blossoms, went back to the computer, selected the best shot (macro) and created one of my “Escape” images. Then I had to make a 12×18 print just to see how it looked in the real world.
